Meet Gary Fox

Gary is the owner of Appliance Plus - UScellular Authorized Agent. It is because of Gary and his excellent leadership team that we are where we are today. Our business model starts with leadership excellence, which creates passionate associates, who in turn are able to deliver the world's best customer service. Gary does an excellent job of providing the company with a great foundation of leadership, creating an encouraging environment to allow all employees to improve their knowledge and skills.

Meet Amber Kane, the Administration Manager, a part of the Human Resource Team for all Appliance Plus and Appliance Plus UScellular Authorized Agent locations. She has worked for the company since 2004.

Amber started her journey as a UScellular Sales Associate, and in 2011, became the Oelwein Sales Leader. In 2015, she became the Administrative Assistant and in 2022, she was promoted to Administration Leader. The Administration Team has grown tremendously since this time, and she is excited to see our team grow in the near future. Every day is a new adventure.

Amber is from a little town of Stanley, Iowa, and currently lives in Fairbank, Iowa, with her husband and two sons. She enjoys time with her family and anything to do with decorating. Mexican is her absolutely favorite food for any occasion. She loves working with everyone in the Administration building.

Meet Rachel Reams, the Area Sales Leader for our UScellular locations in Charles City, Webster City, Osage, Forest City and New Hampton. She has worked for our company since 2005.

Rachel is originally from Oelwein and started working for Appliance Plus, UScellular when we had only one location. She has worked full-time at 4 of our locations, of which she managed three. She currently offices in Charles City, and lives there as well with her husband and 3 children.

Rachel has always lived by the rule to treat people the way you would like to be treated. She learned that in elementary school and still goes by it as that was also how she was raised and what her parents taught her. Rachel’s leadership style is pretty laid back but she also does not allow herself to be walked on or by people who treat others with disrespect, and she believes in doing what is best for the company. She has learned a lot from her own past leaders of leadership styles she likes and leadership styles she doesn't like and has learned and grown from both.

On a more personal note, Rachel’s favorite artist is Taylor Swift. She loves the color pink and during her time off work she loves spending it with her family. Rachel considers Appliance Plus her second family and her second home and she loves it. Rachel enjoys watching employees in our company grow and succeed. She has gotten to watch several people hired as part-time grow to now be part of our leadership team. It amazes her to see such growth in individuals and the company. She loves that there are employees that have just as much passion for the company as she does.

Meet Marjorie Lau, she is the Bookkeeper and part of the Human Resource Team for all Appliance Plus and Appliance Plus UScellular Authorized Agent locations. She has worked for our company since May 2022.

Marjorie is known to all of our staff and customers as Margie. Margie is a fantastic addition to our team as she brings a great positive professional mindset to the work environment. She absolutely loves all of her job responsibilities, as each day is different and she gets to enjoy the challenges that comes along with learning new things. Outside of work, Margie enjoys going boating, kayaking and working on home improvements with her husband, Bret. Together Margie and Bret have 3 adult children, a granddaughter, as well as a dog Hank, and grandpup, named Maia.

Meet Brooke Pritchard, the Area Sales Leader for our UScellular locations in Oelwein, Independence, West Union, Waukon and Dyersville. She has worked for UScellular since 2011 but has been a part of the AP Family since November 2013.

Brooke’s leadership style is to lead with heart. She aims to get to know her team, leaders and associates. She likes to be present and in the moment while in the stores. One of Brooke’s favorite things about her job is being able to help foster and cultivate a positive fun work environment for all employees. There is nothing more satisfactory than getting to watch people grow into their roles and advance on from there.

When Brooke is not at work she is spending time with her daughter, Lainee, who is a freshman this year. She likes to support her daughter in everything she does from Band to FFA, support is in the “stands."
